Weekly Outfit Roundup : September 27, 2020

Lately I’ve found myself drawn to styling outfits with classic pieces then adding a statement piece to mix it up, and I have been loving all the neutrals. I’m finally able to link my outfits directly to the blog, I had so much fun creating these looks, and finally having places to wear them!

I wore this outfit out to ladies night this week and got so many compliments on the fit of this tee and these jeans. I recently bought these jeans when they were on sale from where else, Abercrombie. And they’re the best I swear. They’re so comfortable and flatering, they hit right at my ankle and are the perfect high rise & wash with minimum distressing. You’ll see how I was able to dress them up and down this week!

This tee is from Lulus and what drew me to it was the oversized fit with the deep v-neck, and also the fact that I could dress it up or down. I thought it’d be so cute to pair it with leggings and sneakers for the fall or just hanging around the house.

To round up this outfit, THESE BOOTS. I’ve been looking for a pair that were comfortable and I could wear out during the winter that were dressy. These are so edgy yet girlie at the same time, and I love the lace up detail. I grabbed these from target for a fraction of a designer pair I saw, and they’re way worth it.

I wore this out for martini Monday with some friends last week. This top from Abercrombie is another basic that can be dressed up or down, I loved it so much that I bought it three colors. Another plus, it has a lining under it, so no bra needed! The square neck is so flattering and its the perfect length to wear with anything high waisted but also show the slightest amount of skin. Its perfect to pair with a fun jacket as you’re transitioning to fall.

To finish out this outfit its the same denim & boots from above with an Abercrombie belt.

I got asked to speak to a panel of freshmen fashion majors at Kent this week and describe my experience over the past three years of school, give them advice, and answer any questions they may have about the program or just college life in general. So I wanted to put something together that was trendy yet professional, so business casual it was.

I just ordered this blazer from Lulu’s in two colors because I thought it was the perfect layering piece, then paired it with a tank from Abercrombie that I also ordered in three colors because its just that good. The tank is the same material as the cropped white shirt from above, and is cute on its own or layered. I paired it with the same Abercrombie denim from above. This pair is the Curve Love fit in the medium distressed wash.

I finished out this outfit with a new pair of black boots I bought, I have been wanting a staple pair I could invest in, and chunky boots just aren’t my style. These were the perfect in between pair and I love the embellishment cuff on them, I have gotten nonstop compliments when I wear them.

I got this skirt when I was in Florence last Fall and been obsessed with it ever since. It’s a wrap around skort and it seriously goes with everything, I’ve worn it with heels before and even sneakers. Sadly its not available online so I linked similar options.

The cap sleeve tee trend is everywhere right now, I got this tee from Abercrombie and it’s not see through at all. I thought it’d be so cute with jeans, leggings, and I was even able to dress it up here. My necklaces are both from amazon, and are designer dupes. I finished off this look with the Karl Lagerfeld boots from above. It was so comfy. but also girly and edgy at the same time.
