This week I spent some time at home for Thanksgiving with my family, it absolutely flew by! I also started a new job, got my hair done, caught up with some friends from home, and of course took advantage of all the amazing sales going on with Black Friday weekend.
I don’t know if you can tell from the pictures, but my hair is SO much blonder than it was, and I’m so obsessed with it. My girl at home does such a good job every time, and I figured it was a perfect time to get it done with the holidays coming up.
We had Thanksgiving at my house this year which was hard because we usually spend the day with my entire extended family. But my Mom did an awesome job of making it special, and the food was so good. I wanted to contribute something to dinner, but can’t compare to my Mom’s cooking so I bought the cutest cake from Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes in Rocky River.
Being able to spend time with my family, especially my sister was the best. With this year being as weird as it has been, I have been taking in every moment I can get with them.
My dress for Thanksgiving was from Abercrombie, and I’m obsessed with the color of it. It was so flattering on and so comfortable. The only downside of this dress was it got so wrinkly every time I sat down. My hat was from Lulus, and my boots are from Target. I find myself constantly leaning towards these recently instead of my over the knee boots because of the fit and how they elongate my legs.
Black Friday was a little different for me this year, I did a lot more online shopping than in person since I had to work on Black Friday. I started working as a Stylist at Francesca’s and I love it. I missed working in a retail setting and its been so fun helping customers shop for Christmas. Working Black Friday was easily one of the most stressful experiences but it prepared me for when I move up to Sales Team lead in the coming weeks.
After working this weekend, I ended up going shopping with Stef and we took some cute pics as well. I didn’t buy anything, but I loved looking at all the sales and getting outfit inspo per usual.
This outfit was so out of my comfort zone, but I loved putting it together. These jeans are my absolute favorite from Abercrombie, I wear them at least four times a week and love the fact that I can dress them up or down. This top is also from Abercrombie and I bought it in three neutral colors, the square neck is so flattering and I always find myself layering it under things. My beanie is a Carhartt one from Amazon, and then my glasses are black aviators from Ray Ban. I won’t go into another rant about these booties, but they’re the ones I mention in almost every post from the fall. I love them so much and this is just another way to wear them.
